From Marissa...

I met Drew three years ago at one of Amiee’s bar-b-ques, where we frequently reunited many times after. He was in the yard, drinking a beer, and standing under the big tree hanging low across the yard. I made a joke to him about his t-shirt as it referenced that fatherhood had aged him far beyond his years. As the small talk rolled we discussed how it was that we spend our time, aka paid the bills. Drew managed to trump any career I have ever heard of, when he convinced me that his job was to travel the world verifying Guinness Book of World Record feats. He was dead serious, convincing, and had stories to further defend his exotic career of the moment. It wasn’t until a week later when I was discussing it with Amiee, that I was relieved from my naivety with the truth of Drew's job. After that day, I never knew whether he was trying to pull my leg, but either way was always sincere, and I had no reason not to believe him.
Drew was such a great person, I am blessed to have shared some of his life, and thank him for the wonderful people that are now so special to me.
